Elyse Resch, MS, RDN, CEDRD-S, Fiaedp, FADA, FAND, is a nutrition therapist in private practice in Beverly Hills, California, with thirty-eight years of experience, specializing in eating disorders, Intuitive Eating, and Health at Every Size. She is the co-author of Intuitive Eating, now in its 4th edition, and the Intuitive Eating Workbook and the author of The Intuitive Eating Workbook for Teens and The Intuitive Eating Journal: Trust Your Inner Voice—Not Diet Culture (upcoming, 2021). She is also a chapter contributor to The Handbook of Positive Body Image and Embodiment and has published journal articles, print articles, and blog posts. Elyse does regular speaking engagements, podcasts, and extensive media interviews. Dr. Ian Cook is the Director and CEO of the Los Angeles TMS Institute, and is Professor Emeritus at UCLA in both psychiatry and bioengineering. For most of the past three decades, Dr. Cook’s clinical focus has been on the treatment of mood disorders. He was the founding director of the UCLA Depression Research and Clinic Program in 2007 and started the UCLA TMS Program there in 2009. Before “Retiring" from his tenured professorship at the University, Dr. Cook held an endowed chair in depression research and was the Chief Translational Innovation Officer at the UCLA Semel Institute. His research has translated developments in biomedical science into useful therapeutics and diagnostics for the clinic. He is an inventor on several dozen patents on biomedical devices and methods.
Dr. Cook received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and earned his M.D. degree at the Yale School of Medicine. He completed his psychiatry training at UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Institute & Hospital (now the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA) and an NIH-funded T32 research fellowship in psychobiology at UCLA before joining the full-time faculty.

He also oversees a longitudinal research project at UCLA looking at long-term follow up in OCD patients who have completed intensive treatment.
